- Q: How much is the stipend?
- A: You will receive a monthly stipend of R5445 (after UIF deductions of R55).
- Q: When will I receive my stipend?
- A: Stipends are paid on the last day of each month.
- Q: How does attendance affect my stipend?
- A: Your stipend is based on attendance. Any absences without a valid reason (like a sick note) will result in a deduction for each day missed.
- Q: What contracts do I need to sign?
- A: You will sign a Learnership Agreement and an Employment Contract.
- Q: Where can I find detailed instructions for signing the contracts?
- A: A separate contract-signing guide will provide specific instructions on where to sign and initial each document. (Coming Soon…)
- Q: Can I scan and email my signed contract?
- A: Yes, you can temporarily scan and email. However, the original signed copy must be submitted within 30 days of starting work.
- Q: What documents do I need to submit before starting my internship?
- A: You must provide the following:
- Certified Copy of ID
- Bank Account Confirmation (Bank Letter or 3 months of Statements)
- Copy of CV & Highest Qualification
- Signed Employment Contract
- Signed Learnership Agreement
- Proof of Disability (If Applicable)
- Complete Student Registration Form

- A: Submit all required documents to your college. Additionally, please email copies to ceo@instituteofcom.com.
- Q: I’m already employed. Can I apply for this program?
- A: You may be eligible if your current workplace meets the program’s requirements. Contact your college for more information.
- Q: I’m already in an internship with a stipend. Can I apply for this program?
- A: No. Receiving a stipend from two programs is not allowed and may have legal consequences.
- Q: I was in a learnership that ended. Can I apply?
- A: Yes, you can apply as long as you are not currently receiving a stipend.
- Q: My college is in another province. Can I work in my current province?
- A: Yes, you can work in a different province from where your college is located.
- Q: Who will assign me a workplace?
- A: Your college will be responsible for assigning you a workplace.
- Q: When will I be assigned a workplace?
- A: Workplace assignments are typically made after your induction. Your college will provide a specific timeline.
